Ammons to Compete Again at South Alabama Speedway!

Billy Ammons had one race on his schedule that has continued to elude him for several years now. That race, is the Rattler. Ammons, who has always been a front runner in the Street Stock division at South Alabama Speedway, and is the 2006 champion in that division, had never taken the checkers in the prestigeious early season race. That all changed Saturday night, as Billy was able to put the Ammons Truck Repair Monte Carlo in Victory Lane.

Billy started on the outside pole in the 35 lap event. Be followed Chris Salter trying everything he could to get around him to the lead. Finally, towards the middle of the race, Ammons was able to get by Salter and never looked back, winning the race in dominating fashion.
