Billy Ammons had the experience of a lifetime Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway, running the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals 150. After running 10th in final practice he took the track to qualify and qualified 18th. After qualifying he found an issues with the left front suspension. He started the race 18th and at one point found himself running in the 49th position, but rallied back to a 12th place finish with no scratches on the race car. The car ran extremely well and the team is always finding new ways to improve each and every time Billy hits the track. Billy and the Ammons Race Team left Bristol very happy with the results of the weekend. The next Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals race that Billy will be competing in will be on the 1.5 mile Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY on May 24, 2008.
